Personal Mission: “Personal Mission: As a man among men, I create a world of acceptance and opportunity for all.”

Action in the World: Puma has led the effort to build one of the best schools in the Katanga region of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Since 1995, he has organized village projects. The school provides elementary through technical education in a village that previously had no electricity, toilets or clean water. The $5 monthly tuition is within reach for the typical family, but free tuition is provided for orphans, and a sweat equity program for parents who cannot afford the tuition. The school comprises a computer lab partially powered by a windmill. Puma also gives inspirational presentations to schools, colleges, churches and civic organiations. In 2000, he co-founded Able and Willing International Education Foundation, a non-profit organization, to help raise funds and guide the projects.
