Mission of Service for The Truth Project
 Personal Mission:This photo shows men from the Truth Project as well as from the Jericho Circle Project, another program working with incarcerated men. THE TRUTH PROJECT Byran Bartow "Ecstatic Fox", Bill Lauer "Mountain Lion" "Together we empower men to share their Truth and restore community." Action in the World:These men are the visionaries of the Truth Project. They have lead the creation and implementation of our prison work here in Wisconsin. Currrently at the Oshkosh Correctional Insitution, with plans to broaden the reach to a prison in the Madison area. Many men in our communiity have been part of this project, giving a grate deal of time and effort to make it a success. There have been a number of staff trainings, Truth Groups led by these men and others inside the prison, and two weekend intensives held at the prison. There efforts have touched the lives of many "inside" the system, as well as those from "outside" stepping up to serve. None of this would have happened without these men's vision, leadership, dedication and hard work. The Truth Project exists today because of their selfless service. |
